In the "The It Girl", you play at the protagonist, Jay. Jay is a senior in Chardonnay High School who's been largely accepted by the school's elite because he's tutored most of them helping them pass their hardest courses. The elite includes the most popular girl in school, Tye. Tye invites him to her birthday party. 

The game progresses as you make choices as Jay. Those choices include things such as deciding to go to the party or not,  deciding what to tell your parents about the party, and what you actually do while at the party. These choices will determine your outcome.
